Password Requirements

When creating a new password or resetting a password for a User in MarketGrid, the following requirements need to be met:

• The password length must be at least 16 characters.
• When resetting a password, the new password cannot be the same as the old password, however older passwords may be reused.
• The password cannot be based on a dictionary word, or a reversed dictionary word.
• The password cannot be too simplistic or systematic e.g. obvious repetition or sequence of characters.
